the staff was really helpful throughout my visit they were friendly too the room was clean upon arrival i found a decent shower which worked well the full english breakfast had good quality and was reasonably priced. the room included beverage options which was a nice touch i would book again if needed.
the window had a slight gap it let in a bit of cold air

my window did not close properly. there was a clear gap between the window frame and the window. this let cold air in. the fire door also had a clear gap between the frame and the door.

the room looked quite outdated. the mattress was the worst i have ever slept on in a hotel! every movement caused the springs to creak, offering zero support, and i barely managed a couple of hours of sleep. the mattress definitely requires replacement.
